Greetings NeedleWorkMonday creative friends. Happy and blessed Wednesday to all of you. We keep learning and keep creating every day. Today I am pleased to share with you a small but very cute project. It is a mini dinosaur knitted with amigurumi technique.
Yesterday I was looking for references for a amigurumis project I have in mind and I found this pattern of a mini dinosaur super simple and easy. To tell the truth I really like this kind of minimalist designs, I think they are ideal for beginners and for those of us who are still learning this beautiful amigurumi technique. When I saw that the pattern was so simple I immediately decided to knit it as a practice.
Another thing I really liked about this design is that they can be knitted in different color combinations, which makes them look very cheerful, cute and fun. In my case I chose a bubblegum pink color because it is a nice and eye-catching color, I knitted the ends in yellow because I think that both colors make a good contrast.
I think this project is ideal for making souvenirs for children's parties, as they are a handmade toy that children can use with confidence and are very cute. I knitted this mini dino to place it as an ornament next to my other amigurumis, however, my daughter fell in love with it and asked me to give it to her, so I will have to knit another mini dino for myself.
This time I used acrylic yarn used for knitting baby clothes because I wanted the mini dino to have a very soft texture. I hope you like this simple project, I leave the pattern in case you want to make it. For now I'll say goodbye until a future post. Thanks for reading, greetings and blessings.
