Blessed Monday creative friends. I am so happy to be able to participate in our usual Needlework Monday. Last week I was extremely busy so I didn't have much time to spend on knitting. So I took some time out of the weekend to knit the project I am sharing with you below. It is a kind of exfoliating body washcloth.
This is a fairly simple project to develop and very useful. The best thing is that it can be made with leftover yarns and the stitches used are very easy. I found this idea on Pinterest while looking for inspiration for my Christmas gift projects. This is an exfoliating wipe that can be used in the bath with shower gel or soap.
I made this exfoliator with raw cotton thread, since with acrylic thread it would have a texture that would not be very pleasant for the body. Cotton yarn, on the other hand, is very soft. The stitches used to make it with relief and texture are the puff stitch and the Popcorn stitch, working alternately one round with each stitch. Then another circular piece is made with high stitches and a small handle that serves as a handle.
I made this wipe for myself as a test to see how it works with this type of yarn. But it seems to me that it will work very well. I think it can be made in different shapes and designs in conjunction with the knitted soap sachet and would make a great shower accessory. I will continue to share new projects with you soon. Thanks for reading, greetings and blessings.
