Hola, hola mi muy apreciada colmena #Needleworkmonday, deseo que estén pasando un grandioso resto del día, hace más de un mes recibí la invitación de una amiga que se mantiene activa en ésta comunidad, con hermosos trabajos de crochet, a participar en el ¡Concurso de bordado de tu Barbie! - Edición 2024, se trata de nuestra estimada @kattycrochet, a quién le pido disculpas por no participar en éste hermoso concurso, estaba muy entusiasmada, tenía en mente la temática del hada de las flores de tinkerbell, con detalles de flores en el vestido, pero por motivos de viaje y tiempo no lo hice, será en una próxima oportunidad amiga, nuevamente disculpa y muchas gracias por invitarme. Bueno el proyecto de hoy se trata de un traje para la cachorrita de mi sobrina, quien cumple 5 años con nosotras en éste mes y quise hacerle un hermoso traje para celebrar, está fabricado en fieltro y a mano, ya que la máquina la dejé, pero me traje la mayoría de los hilos, y otras herramientas como agujas, cinta métrica y tijeras 😁. Ahora si, ¡Manos a la obra!.

Well today's project is about a costume for my niece's puppy, who turns 5 years old with us this month and I wanted to make her a beautiful costume to celebrate, it is made of felt and by hand, since I left the machine, but I brought most of the threads, and other tools like needles, tape measure and scissors 😁. Now yes, let's get to work.

Para comenzar con la confección de este traje, lo primero que hice fue sacar el patrón principal que es el que cubre parte del lomo y el cuello, de este patrón saqué dos piezas iguales, coloqué el patrón sobre la tela doblada en dos, porque trabajé como siempre, con la mitad del mismo.
To start with the making of this suit, the first thing I did was to take out the main pattern that covers part of the back and neck, from this pattern I took out two equal pieces, I placed the pattern on the fabric folded in two, because I worked as usual, with half of it.
Luego recorte cuatro tiras, dos tiras de 30 cm de largo y 8 cm de ancho, más dos tiras de 26 cm de largo y 8 cm de ancho. Esto es para hacer las lazadas del cuello y la parte de abajo de la barriguita.
Then cut out four strips, two strips 30 cm long and 8 cm wide, plus two strips 26 cm long and 8 cm wide. This is to make the neck loops and the bottom of the tummy.
Una vez que terminé de realizar las cuatro tiras, procedí a colocar las dos tiras más pequeñas en las puntas de las asas del cuello y las más grandes en las puntas de las asas de la barriguita, dejando los otros extremos de la tira, hacia dentro de la pieza.

Después procedí a realizar el tutu, para esto recorte dos tiras, una de 90 cm de largo y 20 de ancho y la otra tira de 90 cm de largo y 12 cm de ancho.

Posteriormente coloqué la tira rosada sobre la tira fucsia, haciendo coincidir las orillas superiores y realicé un hilvan, para fruncir toda esa orilla y pegarlas sobre la primera pieza que realicé.
Then I placed the pink strip over the fuchsia strip, matching the upper edges and made a basting stitch, to gather all that edge and glue it over the first piece I made.
Finalmente realicé un lazo al cual le coloqué las perlas plásticas y una tira fucsia en el centro, para pegarlo en la parte del lomo del vestido.
Finally, I made a bow to which I attached the plastic pearls and a fuchsia strip in the center, to glue it to the back of the dress.
