Como les he comentado en publicaciones anteriores, siempre guardo retazos de tela que considero útiles para futuros proyectos; además que me da pesar, desechar una pieza de tela no por su costo, si no por lo provechosa que puede ser, como lo fue en éste caso, recibí la visita de mi madre y mi sobrina quienes vinieron a pasar el día en mi casa, pero resultó que gustosamente se alegó la visita por dos días, y mi sobrina no trajo cotilla o top corpiño para cambiarse, así que decidí buscar entre mis retazos un pedazo de tela que me fuera útil para realizar ésta prenda y gracias a Dios encontré entre mis retazos, una tela de mono suave que medía aproximadamente 70 cm de largo y 25,5 cm de alto,el tamaño perfecto para sacar un top sujetador o corpiño para mi sobrina; Y hasta el proyecto que quiero compartir con ustedes la confección de un top corpiño o sujetador para niñas en tela de mono suave. ¡Manos a la obra!

As I have told you in previous posts, I always keep scraps of fabric that I consider useful for future projects; Besides, it makes me regret, to discard a piece of fabric not because of its cost, but because of how useful it can be, as it was in this case, I received the visit of my mother and my niece who came to spend the day at my house, but it turned out that they gladly stayed for two days, and my niece didn't bring a bodice top to change into, so I decided to look through my fabric scraps to find a new one, so I decided to look through my scraps for a piece of fabric that would be useful to make this garment and thank God I found among my scraps, a soft monkey fabric that measured approximately 70 cm long and 25.5 cm high, the perfect size to make a bra top for my niece; And so to the project I want to share with you, the making of a bra top for girls in soft monkey fabric. - Retazo de tela de mono suave.
- Elástico de 1cm de ancho y de 4 cm de ancho.
- Corpiño para el modelo.
- Cinta métrica
- Máquina de coser.

Para la confección de éste top corpiño, Lo que hice fue utilizar el top que ya traía mi sobrina, como modelo para sacar el nuevo, comencé sacando la parte del frente y luego la parte trasera, Para esto, doblé la tela en dos de igual manera que la parte delantera del corpiño de mi sobrina para sacar una pieza entera, de igual manera hice con la parte trasera.
For the making of this bodice top, what I did was to use the top that my niece already had, as a model to make the new one, I started by taking out the front part and then the back part. For this, I folded the fabric in two in the same way as the front part of my niece's bodice to take out a whole piece, in the same way I did with the back part.
Una vez que saqué mis dos piezas del corpiño, procedí a colocar el elástico de 1 cm de ancho, por el revés de la orilla superior del pecho y la orilla superior de la pieza de la espalda, luego doblé las orillas hacia dentro, es decir, hacia el lado del revés. Para estas costuras utilicé una apuntada en zig zag grande.
Once I removed my two bodice pieces, I proceeded to place the 1 cm wide elastic on the back of the top edge of the chest and the top edge of the back piece, then folded the edges inward, that is, to the wrong side. For these seams I used a large zig zag stitch.
Luego coloqué las dos piezas, una encima de la otra, con sus derechos enfrentados, para pasar costura por sus laterales.
Then I placed the two pieces, one on top of the other, with their right sides facing each other, to sew along their sides.
Para hacer el ruedo de la sisa y los tirantes, utilicé dos piezas de elástico de 1cm de ancho y 32 cm de largo para cada lado. Estos 32 cm los distribuí de la manera siguiente: primero marqué los 24 cm qué son para los tirantes y el resto, lo cosí en el área de la sisa pero estirándolo, para cubrir toda esa área y así también recoger un poco la sisa.
To make the armhole and shoulder straps, I used two pieces of elastic 1 cm wide and 32 cm long for each side. These 32 cm I distributed them as follows: first I marked the 24 cm which are for the straps and the rest, I sewed it in the area of the armhole but stretching it, to cover all that area and also to gather a little the armhole.
Para que el corpiño fuese un poco más largo, tipo deportivo, coloqué un elástico de 4 cm de ancho, en todo el contorno del bajo busto.
To make the bodice a little longer, sporty style, I placed a 4 cm wide elastic, all around the underbust.
