I needed a pin cushion, one that I could wear around my wrist
So pinning, unpinning would be easier, sewers would get my gist
At first, I thought, I should sew one from scratch
But surely this monster head is a cuter pin dispatch

I apologised to my son as I ripped it off his bunker bed
Threw out the arms and legs, stuffed the body into its head
With yarn, sewed it up and fitted this cool Music Run magnetic band
Stuck in the pins and now I got a funky pin head cushion on hand

ps: Monster is quite happy with his piercings and is thinking about tattoos now
Son is 13, and though he says he will miss Monster watching him sleep, he will get over it somehow

                                                                          Hmm.. great idea. Never though of a pin cushion band. Not that I sew much now.
                                                                          My silly sewing machine seems to be spinning knots instead of sewing. Tried adjusting the tension and stuff, just doesn't work.
                                                                          I need to sew a curtain and now I guess it needs an over haul.

                                                                                            I was thinking about this too - that the time will come when I will have to stop the sewing so better enjoy it for now ;p
                                                                                            My eyesight isn't great as it is and I do have trouble with threading... one of the reasons why I dread the serger (but apparently there are air-powered ones where it kinda threads itself... but I am not even going to check it now coz I can imagine the price).

                                                                                                  I hope you don't get there.. threading is something I dread. sometimes it takes like 10 minutes to thread. LOL
