Last night, it was raining heavily for hours. I can feel the colder air that touches my skin. I tried to cover my body with a thick blanket, enjoying my sleep while the rain poured on the roof of our house overnight. I always like to go to sleep when it rains. I don't know why, but I do.
When the morning comes, the sun appears for an hour or two, but immediately the sky darkens, and it is about to rain again.
However, I still have to work. I received an order yesterday afternoon, so I went to get the supplies needed to make crochet earrings.
My recent client placed an order for three sets of crochet earrings for both her sister and herself.
I sent her various pictures of my previous designs, and she had chosen the ones that make use of plastic rings. I was thankful that I still have enough plastic rings that can be used for her orders.
To begin with, here are the materials I used.
Materials:
plastic rings
Hypoallergenic earring hooks
mixed-colored yarns
3ply mercerized cotton yarn (off-white)
- pliers
- cutter
Procedure: Easy to follow
Cover the whole plastic ring with mix-colored yarns using single crochet (lock and cut the excess yarn).
Make another layer of double crochet (3 dc in every stitch) using the plain color yarn
Next, using the mixed-colored yarn again, make 3 chains and single crochet on every stitch, repeating this pattern until the end (lock and cut the excess yarn).
Finally, put the hook on top of the crochet earrings.
It only takes a few minutes to finish a pair of this design. I like the simplicity of this earrings and its color combination.
The next pair of earrings is almost the same with the first one but on this pair, instead of making 3 chains and single crochet on every stitches, I only made single crochet on the 3rd round and inserted an earring hook at the top of the plastic ring.
I also love its color combination and was thinking of making other designs using these yarns.
The third set of earrings was the simplest and fastest to complete, with just two rounds, but it won't be the least when it comes to beauty.
I finished the three pairs of crocheted earrings today with the assurance that their owners would adore them as soon as they laid eyes on them.
The designs are simple, yet they exude elegance. The moment I posted these pictures on my social media accounts, I received another order of two pairs of crochet earrings. And that makes me happy indeed. 😍
If you had read until this end, then thank you so much. I'm glad you did, and I hope to read your feedback, reactions, or recommendations about these crocheted earrings.
Have a nice and happy Monday, and God bless everyone.
