It's Monday and a beautiful day to see and share lovely things amongst this family.
I'm so excited to be part of this lovely community this day, it's so satisfying to be loved by you all and today I want to share to you all on how i made this pom pom heart with my fingers to revamp my bag.
I purchased this bag last year and it's already getting old of which i almost dumped it but luckily for me i came across this video on YouTube which contained making a pom pom heart and i thought about applying that heart to my bag and how it would look like
And i decided to give it a try with a positive mind set.
These are the materials i used :
-White wool
-scissors
-beads
-card board paper
-needle
These are the steps i used in making it:
I cut out my cardboard paper in a rectangular shape
I folded it into two and cut a half shaped heart out of it
After cutting it out
I picked my white wool and cut a very small size out of it and placed it between my middle and forth finger
After doing that, i took my wool and tied it round my fingers excluding my thumb, i went round it 80 times
After completing the 80 times i used the wool i placed on my finger to tie it and then pulled it out of my fingers
I cut the edges of each side using my scissors and spread them
After that, i placed my heart(card board paper) on top on the wool and the cut it out accordingly
After cutting it out, i got my heart shaped wool ready,
After that ,i used my comb to comb it out properly and then trimmed it to avoid it looking scattered
After that, i went on to the next step
I cut a little size of my wool and placed it on my index finger after which i used the wool and went round my four fingers 10 times and then pulled it out and tied it and cut the lower part
After that i inserted my wool into my needle
I used my wool to tie the head of the knot and then inserted the needle from the bottom (middle) of the heart to the upper part of the heart and then draged it closer
After then i inserted my beads into the needle and tied it allowing part of the wool
At this point i arrived at the finished work but what was left was to attach it to my bag which i did
I'm contemplating on if its nice or not
