¡Hola, espero te encuentres de maravilla!
Hi, I hope you are feeling great!
Yo recién ando activando mi modo Navideño, jaja. Luego de tantas ideas (entre: duendes, renos, regalos, campanas, letreros, entre otros), decidí diseñar estos 3 camélidos sudamericanos.
I'm just activating my Christmas mode, jaja. After so many ideas (among: elves, reindeer, gifts, bells, signs, ...), I decided to design these 3 South American camelids.
¡Hamuy!
For this collection, I chose the llama, alpaca and vicuña. These animals represent my culture, that is to say, that of my ancestors. In addition, they play important roles such as: The transport of cargo in steep places (standing hills), their fine fibres covered us from the extreme climates of the Andes. Their meat is also very nutritious (low in cholesterol).
I started with the Vicuña, because its fibre is attached to its body, so I don't have to weave extra chains. One of the main characteristics of the vicuña is that it has an off-white band near the mouth.
I crocheted separately the eyelet, this one has a lead stain between its own eyelet and its mouth. The joining of this piece was done by taking only the back thread.
The embroidery is the part where the character (amigurumi) comes to life. What makes Vicuña simple is his characteristic colors. That's what Vicuña looks like!., he'll go straight to the tree.
¡Y eso es todo!
¡Hasta la próxima!
See you next time!.
Dato curioso: Quería sacar los patrones de estos 3 diseños, aunque creo que no me alcanzará el tiempo, por lo que será para el próximo año. | I wanted to make the patterns for these 3 designs, but I don't think I'll have enough time, so it will be for next year.
