La versatilidad del mundo amigurumi sigue dando que hablar. Tejer muñecos (amigurumi) no se trata solo de seguir un patrón, se trata de "conectar con el personaje". Sean estos animalitos, personajes de la historia (como este caso), personajes animados, personajes fantásticos, entre otros.
The versatility of the amigurumi world continues to be talked about. Knitting amigurumi dolls is not just about following a pattern, it is about "connecting with the character". Whether they are animals, characters from history (as in this case), animated characters, fantastic characters, among others.
As I was knitting this little leg, the great strides Cleopatra made for her homeland came to mind. I simply couldn't believe I was knitting the Queen of Egypt...she is such an imposing character. I can't imagine the importance she has today in Egypt itself.
- Según History channel, Cleopatra fue la reina más jóven de la historia, asenció a la Corona a los 18 años.
- Ser políglota, trabajadora, estratega, negociadora, valiente, inteligente y astuta le sirvió para ser reconocida por su pueblo y sus enemigos.
- Entiendo que "Cleopatra" es el título que se le da a una gobernante mujer, quien demuestra un liderazgo ejemplar. Por ejemplo, ella quiso reivindicar a Egipto y convertirlo en potencia (de allí sus romances con Julio César y Marco Antonio).
- Fue tan valiente que una vez instalada en Roma acuñó su rostro en los "Denarios" (moneda antigua de plata en Roma). Siendo el 1° romano humano, porque antes únicamente estaban los dioses.
- Falleció a sus 39 años. No me imagino qué huviera hecho si tuviese más tiempo.

. According to History channel, Cleopatra was the youngest queen in history, she ascended to the Crown at the age of 18.
. Being a polyglot, hard worker, strategist, negotiator, courageous, intelligent and cunning helped her to be recognised by her people and her enemies.
. I understand that "Cleopatra" is the title given to a female ruler who demonstrates exemplary leadership. For example, she wanted to reclaim Egypt and make it a power (hence her romances with Julius Cesar and Mark Antony).
. She was so brave that once installed in Rome she coined her face on the "Denarii" (Rome's ancient silver coin). She was the first human Roman, because before that there were only the gods.
. She died at the age of 39. I can't imagine what he would have done if he had more time.
