Hello hivers, it's the beginning of a new week and a new day, trust we are doing well already.
One beautiful thing about being able to make dresses is the ability to bring about different pieces and join them together to make something meaningful out of them. For instance, this top I made is a combination of two different materials. This was because the flowered material was not enough so I had to look for another Mather that matches it to combinate it and it came out nice.
I had to make it stylish by dividing into halves to bring about a particular style I saw on the internet.
That me joining the two fabrics together before cutting out the pattern, that involves the next, shoulder, armhole, waist and so on
In the picture above, we can see that is the back patter of the dress, it's a high neck back and the armhole with the depth of 8"
For the front neck pattern, I made the neck deeper than the front in v shape as there would be no zipper, it's meant to be a free top that can be won on skirt, trousers.
After turning the neck 👆 with a lining that was the end result. it came out so nice.
Remember I mentioned that I was managing the material, so because of that I had to make the sleeves small but it was cool.
The end result is 💃💃💃💃
