Hi hiveians, its Monday and i am here to show my first sewn clothes, yeah it may not be as perfect as you would want it but at least be happy for me that i did something🤗🤗🤗🤗.

Its always a thing of joy to achieve something in life, I have been learning how to sew for quite some times now, I started since April and to me I have been extremely slow, being that I haven't been so steady, I am working, and I am learning how to sew too, couple with my I'll health but I am grateful to God that I have at least moved forward. So today I am here to show you my first sewn cloth, I have been doing some amendment, and also shaping some clothes that is either too big or too small or that has torn, I have been stitching my dad's, mom's, and siblings clothes, but this is the first time I have sewn a complete cloth.🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗😀😀😀😝😝😝😝😝😀😀😀😀😀😀

Now the process
I actually sewed peplon top and skirt.
I first of all took my measurement.

After taking the measurement I had to follow it slowly less I cut the cloth amiss.
I first of all did the cutting for the skirt.
First of all I measured the length of the skirt, measured zip allowance, measured the wait, measured from waist to hips, then at that exact point where the tape stopped I measured the hops itself, remember all this measurement is marked or shown using tailor's chalk, after taking note of all this points, I had to use the chalk to join all this points together and the shape was really pronounced, when I was sure the shape of the skirt was visible I used a scissors to cut it off carefully, the one i cut was for the front, so I had to fold the
Cloth again, place the front part on the folded cloth and then I cut it this time around adding a little allowance.
After that I picked up the black linen, folded it into two then placed the cloth on top of the folded linen, then cut the linen according to the shape of the skirt, both for the front and back, after doing that I carefully folded them and kept it aside, then set to cut the peplon top.

For the peplon top I measured the length, measured the shoulder, dropped the armpit, then measured the burst immediately under the armpit, there after I moved to measure from shoulder to where the peplon will be joined, that's half length, after all the measurement I used the chalk to join all everything together then cut, did some to the linen, then I set to sew the clothes, it was really a stressful process being that its my first but thanks to God for the grace to complete the work on the clothes, Amen.
