Today I turned some of my flannel remnants into baby burp cloths. I trimmed the gold one with a black grosgrain ribbon border and penguin applique.
The other cloths have contrasting bias tape borders. It's a quick project that is immediately useful when babies drool or spit up a bit. A mom can never have too many of these.
I made them because my daughter mentioned she needed to buy some more burp cloths. Buy?! Not while I have absorbent cotton fabric around. Save money by doing a little sewing.
