#needleworkmonday
Hello my fellow needleworkers,it's Monday!!I hope you all are having a wonderful day and you’re all doing well too. I had some time off today so I said why not make a post.

I have so much to post about but not having time is one thing I’ve been trying to schedule so I can post more and also interact with people here.

So frankly I have not named this particular design yet. I’ll work on that later though. But for now I’ll love to share all the details. The process and everything. I mean everything I did when I was working on this.

Firstly, I made a post some time ago about an acquaintance that made an order for his two kids. I finished up the girl’s own first and I promised I’ll share this one when we finish.

So in my opinion (the one where most of the things I own are black) I prefer this design. Although I would have done less white for myself. Anyways, enough about me let’s talk about the boy I made this for.

He is a dark skinned kid that’s why I had to do more white and his nickname is Mr T. While placing the order Mr Dash (I’ll love to keep his name anonymous) talked a lot about his kids that evening especially when we were picking colors.

When it came to Mr T’s own (the boys nickname) we were going to and fro with the colors because his dad wasn’t so certain about what to pick we went to blue, different shades of blue, black too then we finally settled with this black and white design.

When making this I had to be careful since the white was on it. I didn't want it stained at all and white yarn has a thing for picking up loads of dirt.

I was also careful to pick the black so it doesn’t shed and also stain the white.

Making the squares was very fun for me especially when I had to start changing the colors. Ian’s making the hands was also really fun for me but hiding all the yarns was not so fun.

The cutting of yarns too.

I had to finish this process up fast because I had a few other projects I was to deliver that week. I think the best part about making these is the customer's reaction.

He called me up and told me he received his package and that they looked so good that he could not wait to travel home and gift them.

I was smiling all through because it’s one thing to make something for a client and another thing for the client to appreciate your work.

These are the supplies I used to make this hat:
*measurement tape
*Darning needle
*9 balls of 40g acrylic yarn

Really nice. Good job!

Thank you!!!

Oh! it looks really look @doreenarch. I like the color combination and also the design. Truly, the hardest part of making this one is weaving the ends. You have to be very sure to secure it with a knot or something before cutting the excess yarn. But over all, it's really cool. Job well done dear. 🥰

Yeah the ends gave me a lil trouble but it’s sorted.
