Yo ya estoy estrenando y la verdad es que estoy bastante satisfecha con los resultados. Desde niña me ha gustado usar adornos en el cabello, recuerdo que el dinero que nos daban los domingos para las meriendas yo no los gastaba todo, me iba al siguiente día para el mercado más cercano y compraba útiles escolares y ganchos para el cabello, recuerdo que usé mucho las trenzas o crinejas y las aguantaba con lazos o colas de colores muy llamativos procurando siempre que no alteraran las normas del uso del uniforme escolar.

Since I was a little girl I have liked to use hair ornaments, I remember that the money they gave us on Sundays for snacks I did not spend it all, I went the next day to the nearest market and bought school supplies and hair clips, I remember that I used a lot braids or hair braids and held them with bows or tails of bright colors always trying not to alter the rules of the use of school uniform.
Verifiqué si tenía en la cesta de hilos algunos colores para hacer este accesorio y que fuera llamativo, entonces elegí los hilos pabilos que son los que siempre uso de los colores: verde, blanco, anaranjado y negro. El color negro se puede reemplazar por color marrón o dorado, dependiendo si lo queremos camuflajear en el cabello. Igualmente para los colores de la flores, estos colores pueden combinarlos con alguna vestimenta que siempre uses o con una en particular. Sobre las cuentas yo usé las que tenía disponibles en colores negro y anaranjado, son cuentas acrílicas, no perlas, pero si deseas usar perlas seguro se verán hermosas.
I checked if I had in the yarn basket some colors to make this accessory and make it eye-catching, so I chose the wick yarns that I always use in the colors: green, white, orange and black. The black color can be replaced by brown or gold, depending if we want to camouflage it in the hair. Likewise for the colors of the flowers, these colors can be combined with an outfit that you always wear or with one in particular. About the beads I used the ones I had available in black and orange colors, they are acrylic beads, not pearls, but if you want to use pearls they will look beautiful for sure.
Fíjense que yo empecé tejiendo las cadenas para hacer los colgantes del accesorio, estas van montadas sobre un gancho, ya que luego que elegí la cola elástica me dí cuenta que sería problemático al momento de ponerla en el cabello y realicé el cambio. Estas cadenas se tejen muy rápido, empecé tejiendo 14 cadenas y en la cadena 15 enganché una cuenta, seguidamente tejí 14 cadenas más y en la 15 enganché la otra cuenta; este proceso lo repetí hasta tener tres cuentas en el colgante. Realicé 6 colgantes de tres cuentas cada una, tres colgantes con cuentas verdes y tres colgantes con cuentas anaranjadas. Terminé tejiendo 15 cadenas y cerré el tejido.

Con los hilos pabilos color blanco y anaranjado realicé siete flores sencillas de cinco pétalos; se empieza tejiendo un anillo mágico, dentro del anillo se levantan 10 puntos medio altos, cerramos la vuelta cambiando el hilo de color y se tejen los pétalos levantando 2 cadenas y en el punto siguiente se tejen 2 puntos altos juntos, luego pasamos al siguiente punto después de hacer dos nuevas cadenas y hacemos 1 punto deslizado, esto lo repetimos hasta tener los cinco pétalos de la flor.
With the white and orange wick yarns I made seven simple flowers of five petals; we start knitting a magic ring, inside the ring we raise 10 half-high stitches, we close the round changing the color yarn and we knit the petals raising 2 chains and in the next stitch we knit 2 high stitches together, then we move to the next stitch and we make 1 slipped stitch, we repeat this until we have the five petals of the flower.
Con el hilo color verde tejí una base que usé sobre el gancho para fijar los colgantes, lo tejí en forma de hoja. Empecé con 18 cadenas, luego 1 punto deslizado, 1 punto bajo, 1 punto medio alto, 3 puntos altos, 1 punto medio alto, 1 punto bajo, 1 punto deslizado y después se teje una cadena y se repite todo el proceso por los 18 puntos de atrás de la cadena. Cerré y rematé.
With the green yarn I knitted a base that I used over the hook to attach the pendants, I knitted it in the shape of a leaf. Al tener todas las partes de este lindo accesorio tejidas procedí a montarlas en el gancho. Algo que no me quedó bien es que no me fijé de tener el gancho en la posición adecuada para usarlo con la mano derecha, así que me quedó como para agarrarlo con la zurda. Lo que hice fue ordenar los colgantes tal cual como lo ven en la fotografía, los pegué desde las puntas de hilos sobrantes en el gancho usando silicón caliente. Sobre esas puntas pegué la hoja en colo verde. Me encanta como se ve. Estos colgantes se pueden tejer unos más largos que otros, también se ven lindos. Me gustan para usar en ocasión de un bautizo, comunión o boda, las protagonistas de estos eventos lucirían hermosas con un accesorio elaborado exclusivo para ellas.
Once I had all the parts of this cute accessory knitted, I proceeded to mount them on the hook. Something that didn't work well is that I didn't make sure I had the hook in the right position to use it with my right hand, so I had to hold it with my left hand. What I did was to arrange the pendants as you can see in the picture, I glued them from the ends of the leftover threads on the hook using hot silicone. On those ends I glued the green leaf. I love the way it looks. These pendants can be woven some longer than others, they also look nice. I like to use them for a baptism, communion or wedding, the protagonists of these events would look beautiful with an accessory made exclusively for them.
