¡Hola! Deseando que todos estén muy bien. Yo sigo emocionada con el desarrollo de este concurso, como les mencioné en mi post anterior, este proyecto lo planifiqué e inicié en el mes de febrero. Estoy deseosa de verlo terminado. Siempre me pasa con los tejidos, cuando inicio una manualidad con los hilos me ataca la ansiedad y el deseo enorme de continuar hasta terminarlo. Es por ello que casi nunca dejo trabajos inconclusos.
Otra de las razones por las que no dejo labores incompletas es porque no cuento con suficiente espacio para almacenar. Apenas termino mis creaciones organizo la mesa de trabajo y guardo los materiales. Al producto terminado le tomo fotografías, lo mimo unos días, después lo empaco y guardo hasta regalarlo o venderlo.
Me siento muy mal cuando consigo hebras de hilos tiradas, sucias o en mal estado. Valoro muchísimo lo que tengo porque cuando decidí retomar el arte del crochet no tenía recursos para comprar ni un ovillo. Ahora y gracias a #hive voy adquiriendo los hilos, por eso los cuido y rindo lo más que pueda. Tejer es una de mis mejores medicinas y en cada rollito de hilo hay una cápsula de felicidad para mí.
En cuanto al tema que nos ocupa hoy, quiero contarles que he pasado unas cuantas horas entretenida en los avances o progreso de mi proyecto. Como lo dice el título: ¡Está de pelos! Es una frase que escucho muchísimo en las películas y novelas mexicanas. Literalmente, lo que hice fue colocar pelos para dar continuación y forma a los círculos que les mostré. Son ahora cabezas cubiertas de mucho cabello.
En cada una de ellas metí unas casi 300 hebras. Éstas primero las corté, doblé y pasé con ayuda del gancho por cada orificio del punto tejido. Empezando desde arriba o casco y terminando en los laterales de la cara. En total, contando las tres cabezas, introduje casi 1000 hebras de pelo. Esto lo hice durante unas cuantas horas repartidas en la semana. Usé mis hilos pabilos disponibles.
Para cada cabeza fue necesario usar casi el total del ovillo de 50 gramos. Significa que debo ir a la tienda por más de estos colores. Me gusta bastante hacer muñecos con mucho cabello. Entre los primeros que hice empleando esta técnica está una muñeca que denominé Aarolys, me fijé de una fotografía de mi sobrina y la tejí. El cabello es de color negro. En esa muñeca usé hilos de coser. Para cada hebra de cabello saqué seis hebras. La verdad es que creo que con ese proyecto me gradué con méritos poniendo pelos. Lo disfruté mucho.
Entonces así va quedando mi labor; tres cabezas con más de 300 pelitos cada una. La de color rojo la terminé primero, luego pasé a la de color verde y finalmente completé la de color negro. ¡Ya los adoro!

Hello! Wishing you all well. I am still excited about the development of this contest, as I mentioned in my previous post, I planned and started this project in February. I can't wait to see it finished. It always happens to me with knitting, when I start a craft with yarns I am attacked by anxiety and the enormous desire to continue until I finish it. That's why I almost never leave unfinished work.
Another reason why I don't leave unfinished work is because I don't have enough storage space. As soon as I finish my creations, I organize the work table and store the materials. I take pictures of the finished product, pamper it for a few days, then pack it and store it until I give it away or sell it.
I feel very bad when I get strands of yarn thrown away, dirty or in bad condition. I value very much what I have because when I decided to take up crochet again I didn't have the resources to buy even one ball of yarn. Now and thanks to #hive I am acquiring the yarns, that's why I take care of them and give as much as I can. Knitting is one of my best medicines and in each roll of yarn there is a capsule of happiness for me.
As for the topic at hand today, I want to tell you that I have spent a few hours entertaining myself in the progress of my project. As the title says: "It's a real hairy one! It's a phrase I hear a lot in Mexican movies and novels. Literally, what I did was to place hairs to give continuation and shape to the circles I showed you. They are now heads covered with lots of hair.
In each of them I stuffed about almost 300 strands. These I first cut, folded and passed with the help of the hook through each hole of the knitted stitch. Starting from the top or helmet and ending at the sides of the face. In total, counting the three heads, I inserted almost 1000 strands of hair. This I did for a few hours spread out over the week. I used my available wicking yarns.
For each head it was necessary to use almost the entire 50 gram ball. It means I have to go to the store for more of these colors. I quite like to make dolls with lots of hair. Among the first ones I made using this technique is a doll I named Aarolys, I looked at a picture of my niece and knitted her. The hair is black. In this doll I used sewing threads. For each strand of hair I made six strands. The truth is that I think that with that project I graduated with merits putting hair. I enjoyed it very much.
So this is how my work is coming out; three heads with more than 300 hairs each. I finished the red one first, then moved on to the green one and finally completed the black one. I love them already!
