Una de las metas que tenía planteada cumplir este año era tejer al menos la mitad de la lista de propuestas que me han sugerido mis amigos. Desde hace más o menos tres años he venido anotando los nombres de algunos personajes mencionados por mis amigos y familiares, los cuales me encantaría tejer para mostrárselos. Ellos siempre que ven algún amigirumi me dicen: haz este (muestran fotos, o sugieren nombres), también me preguntan si podría tejer este o aquel. Un día me nombraron un personaje que jamás había oído. Lo busqué por internet y era un personaje de una serie japonesa. Lo bueno es que de muchos de éstos ya hay tutoriales en la web y en Youtube. En fin, en estos días he retomando la lista y me encuentro realizando una serie de modelos o versiones de la linda gatita de Hello Kitty. En este post te voy a mostrar en imágenes el proceso para elaborar la primera de ellas. Me inspiré en una foto que ví en una portada de cuaderno. Espero que les guste. A continuación les menciono los materiales que usé:
🍓 Estambre (hilo acrílico) de los colores que ves en la foto.
🍓 Aguja de 2,50mm.
🍓 Aguja lanera.
🍓 Tijeras.
🍓 Algodón para rellenar.
One of the goals I had set for this year was to knit at least half of the list of proposals that my friends have suggested to me. For the last three years or so I have been writing down the names of some of the characters mentioned by my friends and family, which I would love to knit and show them. Whenever they see some amigirumi they always tell me: make this one (they show pictures, or suggest names), they also ask me if I could knit this one or that one. One day they named me a character I had never heard of before. I looked it up on the internet and it was a character from a Japanese series. The good thing is that there are tutorials on the web and on Youtube for many of these characters. Anyway, these days I have resumed the list and I find myself making a series of models or versions of the cute kitty Hello Kitty. In this post I'm going to show you in pictures the process to make the first one. I was inspired by a picture I saw on a notebook cover. I hope you like it. Below I mention you the materials I used:
🍓 Stamen (acrylic yarn) in the colors you see in the picture.
🍓 2,50mm needle.
🍓 Wool needle.
🍓 Scissors.
🍓 Cotton for stuffing.
🍓 Me está gustando mucho tejer con hilo acrílico grueso. He ido comprando madejas pequeñas para adaptarme e ir calculando la cantidad de material que necesito para cada proyecto. La Hello Kitty la empecé tejiendo la cabeza. Inicié con un am de 6pb. A diferencia de otros patrones este lo hice tejiendo una esfera normal, haciendo vueltas de aumentos, algunas rectas y las vueltas de disminuciones.
🍓 I'm really enjoying knitting with thick acrylic yarn. I've been buying small skeins to adapt and be calculating the amount of material I need for each project. I started the Hello Kitty by knitting the head. I started with a 6pb am. Unlike other patterns, I knitted this one with a normal sphere, making increase rows, some straight rows and decrease rows.
🍓 Mi intención es tejer proyectos de amigurumis pequeños, tipo para usar como colgantes o llaveros. Por eso tejí el cuerpo pequeño. Este se inicia tejiendo ambas piernas, se unen con una cadena y se teje hacia arriba. Se va colocando el relleno a medida que se va tejiendo.
🍓 My intention is to knit small amigurumi projects, type to use as pendants or keychains. That's why I knitted the small body. This one is started by knitting both legs, join them together with a chain and knit upwards. The stuffing is placed as it is knitted.
🍓 Los bracitos también son pequeños, apenas unas cuatro vueltas de 6pb. Sin colocar relleno. Siempre dejando hilo sobrante en estas piezas para coser al cuerpo.

🍓 Esta Fresita la tejí con el vestido de color rosado porque no tenía rojo. Inicié con 19 cadenas, cerré con pd en dónde inicié y a partir de allí comencé a tejer vueltas de aumentos.
🍓 I knitted this strawberry with the pink dress because I didn't have red. I started with 19 chains, closed with pd where I started and from there I started knitting increase loops.
🍓 Con el hilo amarillo y la aguja lanera le bordé unas rayitas en el vestido.

🍓 Empezando también con 19 cadenas tejí las hojas del vestido, solo realicé algunos abanicos en esa cadeneta.

🙋🏽♀️🍓🙋🏽♀️ Ahora viene la mejor parte ☺️ unir o coser todas las piezas. Primero que todo se pasa el vestido por el sobre el cuerpo y se fija con algunas puntadas. Después se cose la cabeza al cuerpo. Seguidamente cosemos los bracitos por sobre el vestido.

🍓 Luego se colocan las hojas y se cose por detrás. Como ven ya la Hello Kitty va tomando una bellísima figura. ¡Me encanta!

🍓 Ya casi finalizando le cosí las orejas, bordé sus ojos y la nariz. Lo mejor es que en este proyecto todo se hace con hilos. Claro, si tuviera ojos ovalados se verían bien lindos también.
