Playing with strings again

in #hive-127911last year

I know it's not Monday yet, but someone suggested that I try posting my pretties here.
Hey! I've been making more woven bracelets again since I don't have enough brain cells again XD
Why braelets though? because I don't need to think much, I just need to follow patterns.

So these are the ones I've made this entire June. I don't actually have a lot of yarn colors yet. So far, I only have black, white, baby blue, yelllow and recently, I found this pretty shade of blue-green, but it's almost out. I'm hoping that by pay day, I can finally, FINALLY buy more yarn to make more patterns I've been meaning to try out.

So far, I've mastered how to make these thin heart bracelets and I've already lost a few of them because my lab grandpas seem to want a peace of my heart XD

Then I've been learning how to do a boho-ish design which is in the line of macrame weaving. and it comes out a little flowy and loose unlike the weaving I knew before.
I still forgot to take videos of me weaving so I can't offer a tutorial type of article, I honestly just wanted to show off what I've been up to because I'm pretty proud of all the things I've made during my breaks XD

Also, I think I mentioned about hanging out at the weaving center up in sagada, and I think I spent a good 2-3 hours there just to learn new ways to weave. I also demonstrated the patterns I know, and I was told that I weave like a sea-dweller because of how loose the patterns I know are. In comparison to the patterns they know, the way they weave is so tightly woven and it seems to represent how closely-knit their community is and how solid their structure is.
I know there doesn't seem much to weaving, but surprisingly, it does reflect the kind of community you circulated in.

This was one pattern they taught me that kind of matched the kind of weaving I know. I'd like to make a red one of this soon.

Then this would be the last bracelet I managed to finish when I got sick last wednesday. This one is heavily macrame. Recently I've been looking at more patterns and I hope I can buy beads too because I saw some really pretty patterns that have beads and stones on it, and I think I could sell those before this year ends.
Anyways, this is just me planning and thinking of selling them some time soon, whe I can make enough. Busy season will end soon, and when that day comes, I'm definitely stocking up on yarn in the lab so I have a lot to do.

This is how far my sleepy brain can write. I'll see you guys again soon

The last one looks amazing. I've never seen a pattern like that before! Yes to beads 😁🧡
Edit: clarify, they all look great!

ang galing naman!

I love all your fabrics, the patterns are beautiful 😍 one of the things I want to learn is this type of bracelet, but so far I haven't dared to make them, because first I would have to look for tutorials ha ha Wonderful all of them! 💚

When I was a girl in the 70s, macrame was very popular. Your bracelets are beautiful. !BBH

@bananzell! Your Content Is Awesome so I just sent 1 $BBH (Bitcoin Backed Hive) to your account on behalf of @fiberfrau. (1/5)

Is that so? Because I rarely see these sort of things now. I only get to see them in specialty shops

Your bracelets are very nice, they are not common. If you are a good seller, you should start on them. Greetings.🧶🧵

I've been giving it some thought but I think I need a lot more bracelets before I can start selling them
