Work has been difficult from this week till today the weekend. Many customers have been demanding knitted slippers and shoes from my shoemaking team craftwork because of the upcoming Easter Sunday. Everybody wants to look good with newly designed knitted or crocheted slippers or shoes. This high demand for shoes and slippers from my shoemaking working office has made me and my team not to have any piece of rest but because of these, after today! We will be going for two days of Easter break from today to Sunday.
Many customers since this week have been coming to my shoemaking office with a different gift while some are still complaining that their slippers and shoes which they demanded for some days are not yet ready but I believe after today every of our customer will be settled. I encourage every needleworker or craft worker should always bear in mind that all customers must not say good or bad things about their handmade works. You must learn how to be patient with all your customers because they are the main reason why you are having shoemaking or needlework shops.
Before I forget, I and my team have come to an agreement to present a wonderful knitted slippers gift to @crosheille as an Easter gift because of the good work she and the other teams of this community have been doing to make sure that the community is moving forward. Because of @crosheille, I have learned so many things about craftwork and needlework. Before I was only based on shoemaking alone but today after I joined this community months ago, I and my team has been able to knit and crochet earring.

Because of time this morning as we are already going on Easter break, I didn’t have much time to capture some of the images of the work which I shared so when next, I will.
Things I used to make the knitted slippers are:
Yarn is a tiny material in form of thread but is used for knitting or crocheting slippers, shoes, bags, earrings, and many other craftworks about needlework. Yarn is always of different colors and if you wish you can mix colors when knitting.
A yarn pin or needle is a tiny metal replacement for a sewing needle used for the knitting of slippers, shoes, bags, and many others in the area of needlework. Every needleworker makes use of a yarn pin or needle to design his/her work.
Sole is a thick leather material used for the making of shoes and slippers in shoemaking. The sole is always at the downside of any shoe or slippers because of its thickness.
Leather is a material used in shoemaking but mostly used to cover the top of slippers or shoes. In knitting, the leather will be knitted with a yarn material according to the design of the slippers before gumming the sole and the leather.
How to prepare your slippers:
Go to the market and get your materials for the knitting slippers available and ready.
Take a good measurement of the size and type of slippers you are about to work on.
Cut the leather out with scissors and then knit your work according to your design and style.
Rob a gum to the surface of the sole and the knitted leather after you must have made a scratch to the surface of the sole and the leather with sandpaper.
Place your gummed soles and knitted leather under the sun for some hours for it to dry well.
Then gum your sole and the leather together and hit slightly with a hammer.
My work is ready for use.
