It's been quite some time since I posted in the AI Art & Information, I have shared a few art works but for the sake of trying to represent something deeper, well here is one, or a few for the art community!
In one of my previous posts I shared how fond I am about space wars and the general science fiction area such as alien worlds and all those cliche things. You know a Star Wars fan boy if not anything else.
Now as much as I do like them I also like the real thing too, not war persay but the history of war. This is not limited to any sort of time frame, it can extend from the days of Alexander the Great up to Napoleon Bonaparte and all the way into the future!
Such as these images below however I won't be focusing too much on the futuristic part of this to much today, rather one of a historical sense, not an accurate one just depictions of what it might have been like.
Let's start with the first one that comes to mind and also the most recent great war that took place.. The second World War of course. Can you just imagine what it must have felt like? Bombs exploding through out the world, mainly on the European continent.
Although by the looks of it there seems to be a pattern of war raging on the European continent, the reasons for that are unknown, I think perhaps it's the clash of the Western world with the Eastern world and the huge difference in how the two parties perceive things, along with that the religion gaps between the Western and the Eastern worlds.
Well let's say we would probably never know as to why, perhaps it's almost sort of the center of human civilization and it's unknowingly a way to lower the population and set things in order or to change things out of the ordinary order into somewhat of a new lifestyle era.
Here are a few pictures to enjoy of some lifelike events of the second world war, keep in mind that these are still just art pieced.
Or even way before then when the world seemed a lot bigger and a lot smaller at the same time, when waging wars meant crossing vast amounts of unknown terrain in order to war against your foes, without any way of communication back to your loved ones waiting at home. They would simply not have known whether you died setting foot on enemy land or even how you died you were just lost to the ages like so many before you. I think those were some genuinely hard times I mean the world was based of wars and that's mostly all we knew back then, the most honourable job landed you in a military career or if life wished you "good fortune" you might have became a politician of some sorts or a scholar but life back then was a for sure military experience if you were a man.
Hard times created hard men.
Hard men who've built the society we live in today even years later._
Back in the times when dining and feasting seemed like the highlight of everyday, I mean after all that's what you lived to do back in those days. Even though the times were tough but they were only tough because of the dangers lurking out side the safety of the village or city you lived in. In a time where Gods and Monsters were real things!
A time where you had less worries about stupid stuff such as paying the electricity bill or water bill, if you were able to get a piece of meat for the day or even a full stomach well then you had no other worries, life could simply have been enjoyed.
