HAPPY NEW YEAR to all Hivers! In January, many individuals make fresh goals, resolutions, and plans to hopefully have a successful coming year. I'm starting my new year off by not making any resolutions. this will be the first year I've done this.
Instead, I'm planning actionable and achievable small goals.
HIVE POWER
2023 Hive Power GOAL: 17,500.000
The primary task on my list is participating in the first Hive Power Up of 2023 today.
I must say, I did enjoy participating in this initiative for the past 12 consecutive months in 2022. Along with that accomplishment, when analyzing my Invest In Myself financial approach, I was able to hold my ground and not lose a significant amount of my personal funds. While my token values dropped significantly, I kept purchasing and stacking.
I reached 14,500 HP as of December 31st, 2022. While I didn't reach my year end goal of 15K, I decided to continue working toward that amount.
For 2023, I plan to continue my same investment approach, slow and steady. The market is still in a bear, so I'll just purchase while prices are low. I feel they will rise again. I'm a long-term investor. One approach I had in mind last year was to increase my holdings in BTC and ETH holdings as well as other Tokens on Hive.
I plan to continue my Hive journey. With that, I'm powering up for January, 2023 a small amount of 25 liquid.
I choose to power up for several reasons. Participating in this initiative helps my Hive account with:
- Greater voting power on content blogs;
- More curation rewards when you vote on other bloggers' posts;
- More resource credits to perform transactions on the Hive Blockchain.
