I love cooking so much and most of the time that my wife is tired from work I always make it my duty to cook in the house,today I did it again I decided to make this lovely soup call (ila alasepo)
meaning okro soup in a local way,this soup is one of the best soup a Grandma from the village will prepare with a natural ingredients and a dry fish and every one will lick his or her fingers,I love the soup so much this particular soup can go with any kind of solid food,be it pounded yam,casavaflour, semovita, or poundo potato, but in my own case I eat my with semovita flour, and I do enjoyed it,
This soup 🍲 is made from okro,
INGREDIENTS
OKRO
Dry fish
(Iru)locust beans
Pepper
Magi
Water salt
PREPARATION
Get your okro in bowl wash it clean,then cut into smaller pieces
, or you can use your blender to blend it
,after, get your dry fish wash it and pure it in a pot add your salt maggi
and add your pepper
as well boil for some time when the fish get softer pure the chopped okro into the pot add your palm oil
,leave it for some time,let it boil and when the soup 🍲 us well cooked remove from the gas taste 😝 it and its ready to serve,
I also accompany my soup with a lovely semovita flour,
PREPARATION OF SEMOVITA FLOUR
Get a very neat pot on the gas with a quantity of water that will be enough for you or the number of people that want to eat it,when the water is boiled pure your flour inside the water Steer till the flour is well mixed and add up turn it very well then remove from the gas and serve,
