Hello Hiver foodies! Last weekend I prepared potato chicken cutlet, one of our snack for the whole week. Cutlet is a mashed boiled potatoes, with the choices of other boiled vegetables or meat, mixed and shaped into wedges or round and dreged into bread crumbs and fry.
This tummy full filling snack, is a favourite of my son and a satisfying snack accompanied with coffee and tea.
I will be sharing with you how I make cutlet in my own version. Here we go!
Ingredients:
Potatoes 800 grms
Chicken breast 500 grms
Chopped Coriander leaves a handful
Black pepper ( coarsely crushed ) 1tspn
Salt
Onion 1 medium ( chopped tiny)
Sesame oil
Ginger 2inch/ chopped to small pieces.
Methods:
- Boil potatoes, till tender. Set aside. Peel potatoes and mashed.
- Boil chicken breast with turmeric powder, pepper, onion, garlic. Set aside. Chopped into small tiny pieces.
- Saute coriander leaves, onion, ginger till raw smell goes.
- Add in turmeric powder, salt and garam masala, pepper .
Mixed for a few minutes.
- Add in boiled chicken. Mixed well till all incorporated.
- Add in mashed potatoes. Mixed well till all coated.
- Add in sesame oil, it will enhance the taste of mixture.
Let it cool for some time.
Shaped mixture into round shaped.
- Dredged into bread crumbs.
