Mountains of meat!!

So... don't bother if you're not into this sort of thing, but for those who are, enjoy! We've been raising our own meat chickens for some years now, and this'll be our second year with our own smokehouse on site. If you've ever had smoked chicken, you may have a frame of reference for this.

Yesterday, we smoked twenty-five of our meat chickens at once, and today we're cutting them up to save for meals. With a family of ten, this won't last us as long as it would for some, and since they are smoked, that'll make them disappear even quicker. These photos represent a lot of effort, a lot of flavor, and a lot of future meals. Enjoy!
