What's Up Hivers!
What a wonderful day today and since I don't have a work today I made this "Banana Puto". According to the research
Puto in the Philippines means steamed rice cakes, traditionally made from slightly fermented rice dough (galapong). Puto is also an umbrella term for various kinds of indigenous steamed cakes, including those made without rice. It is a sub-type of kakanin (rice cakes).
INGREDIENTS
3 Eggs
4 Bananas
3/4 Cup of Brown Sugar
1/4 Cup of butter or Margarine
1 Tbsp. of Baking powder
1 1/2 Cups of all-purpose flour
1/2 Cup of evaporated milk or condensed milk
1/2 tsp. of salt
First mashed the Banana until completely mashed. Then start melting the margarine.
Then place the mashed banana in a container.
Now put the 3 eggs along with the mashed bananas.
Next put the evaporated milk or condensed milk.
Then the melted Margarine.
Now you're gonna mix those four ingredients.
Make sure that you mix them properly until it's completely incorporated.
Use another bowl for the all-purpose flour.
Then put the brown sugar or granulated sugar.
Next is the baking powder.
Lastly add the salt.
Mix those ingredients properly same as the mashed banana.
Now you add the mixed flour to the mixed mashed banana.
Same procedure, mix them and make sure the ingredients are well incorporated.
Prepare the steamer pan and the cupcake molder.
Put the mashed banana to the cupcake molder and ready for steam.
Set 16 minutes for steaming and this is the result.
Congrats! we are done and ready to serve.
That's all for this blog. Thank you for sparing your time visiting my blog. Adios!
