Its a great pleasure to be in this community, I want to show how to prepare ogbono soup,.
Ogbono soup is an eastern part of Nigeria soup, which is very good to eat solid food(swallow) like pounded yam,semovita,
amala,fufu, etc, ogbono is a drawing soup in nature. Follow me as I proceed in the preparation,
Ingredients
*Dry ogbono,blended with crayfish
*Dry fish and stock fish with meat
*Red oil
*black Pepper
*Seasoning (magi and salt)
*ugwu(pumpkin leaf)
Okra
To prepare it;we will first boil the meat and the dry fish, stock fish with seasoning and onion,when its down,we will drop it, preheat the palm oil,on the fire,
then pour the ogbono mixture and the black Cameroon pepper(the coagulated powder form) in other to dissolve it,for it not to form lumps,put magi and salt(pinch),
then pour the cooked meat, mix it together, lower the fire of the gas, allow it steam for five minutes then, pour the pumpkin leaf mix together vigrously,let it steam for another five minutes, one can put okra if wished.
Then its is ready to eat with any solid food of your choice,
