My great people of the community in Natural Medicine. It has been a little while since I turn up here due to several obstacles and other engagements, hope you are doing fine. I want to assure you of my consistency now. We will all learn from each other.
Meanwhile, I am presenting to you my experience with the Banana as I write you this article based on my cultivation of this generous plant. Enjoy your reading.
Banana cultivation is very common in many tropical and subtropical regions across the globe.
Bananas grow well in this region provided they receive well-drained, fertile soils. It can be in a plantation with large acres of land or just within the compound on a small space of land, they usually thrive fine. I planted them within my compound so I have first-hand experience.
The propagation is not difficult. It is mostly done using the suckers which is the offshoot that grows from the base of the banana plant and then is separated from the parent plant and then replanted to allow for a new one to grow.
It usually takes about 9 to 12 months to mature and be fully ready for harvest. Then the fruit bunches are cut off from the plant and the main tree plant from where it grows will then be cut off from the basement as it cannot grow another fruit.
