I want to use this medium to greet all great Hivers. How has been your day so far, hope you are all doing good? I'm positive minded that it's all well and fine.

THE REASON TO RENOVATE.

One of the ways to have a long lasting Pen is by making sure that necessary renovation is carried out when the occasion arises. No matter how neat a Pen would be from the onset, as time goes on, some parts would need to be renovated. Even when a House is neatly built, as soon as people move in or when they start using the house value and structure would be depreciating. The same thing with the Pen house.

THE BIRDS ATTRIBUTE IN THE PEN.

Normally, broiler birds are destroyers. They are destroyers in the sense that, they have this habit of pecking through any small holes they find and make it bigger holes by using their beak and feet to dig through. Every 2 to 3 batches, there's always need for me to renovate my Pen. Most of the renovations I have done are basically patching and fixing the Pen's floor which is the easy access for the Pen to dig through, meanwhile the walls are usually safe.

THE RENOVATION PROCESS.

What I normally use for the plastering of the floor are sharp sand and black soil. I don't need to go far before I can these things because I have easy access to them in my environment.

After I was able to pack the sharp sand and black soil, the next of action is to mix the sands with the long shovel and then add some quantities of Dangote cement.

When I was done with mixing the sharp sand, black soil and the Dangote cement together, I added some amount of water into the space I created with the long shovel inside the mixed sand. The reason I added the sharp sand with black soil is to arrive to an extent of coarse quantity.

Them I mixed the mixed of sharp sand and black soil with the inside that's soaked with water.

THE PLASTERING OF THE PEN'S FLOOR SURFACE.

I did the plastering and renovation all by myself. So because it's raining season, it would take some days before the place would dry off. Then I can go ahead to disinfect the pen before bringing in my
