HELLO HIVE
Intercropping is an effective way to control pests and diseases as it also enhances soil fertility a common practice of intercropping is to effectively plant maize after planting beans or beans after planting maize ever might be the case we have to be conscious of something so nothing goes wrong since we are dealing with chemicals that are very deadly in their own way and it is harmful for one and not for the other so if a farmer is using selective herbicide that is harmful for beans and not for maize then we have to look for a way to do it in such a way that the chemical would not come in contact with the beans.
The primary goal of selective herbicide is to take of weeds on a farm without hurting the crops that have been originally planted on the farm some are also designed to improve the soil fertility with added nutrients and the success or failure of this depends on how much knowledge and work that we put into it.
The maize is already old and the weeds have almost the beans were planted a day earlier that way the seedlings haven't started germinating yet and when they do the chemicals will not have any effect on the seedlings.
This way I can utilize the land even better cause I would have harvested the maize before the beans grow big and start producing.
This strategy is a lot better as it saves us the stress and time that would have been wasted weeding the farm before or after planting the beans.
