HELLO HIVE
The are things that we ought to do at some certain time and then procrastination sets in and pushes the who plan backwards until it is too late sometimes, this situation is what some farmers came up against just recently at my farm which has some what moved the whole process that has been going smoothly backwards a little all of a sudden.
Few weeks ago I made a post about the irregularity of rainfall during that period that I said had caused many farmers to pause any activity on their pending when the rain will resume again as usual but for farmers who had the opportunity to continue their work it wasn't a time to slow down at all. Areas around my farms axis where wet even without the rainfall cause those areas where low land areas but areas around the upland region where dry and there was no sign of water so farmers in this places just stopped doing anything at that point.
What about farms in the low land areas that was still wet farmers in this areas should have continued with work and not let the weather condition affect their work, rice is a kind of plant that requires fertilizer should get to the plant on time, the fertilizer is meant to boost the rice at the later stage so that the rice produced will increase but if the fertilizer should be applied at a time when the plant is about to start producing or has started to produce then the whole process will stop for sometime while the rice begins to have more of leaves than the seed and if rainfall doesn't extend by a month or so then the farmer is at a risk of having more of seeds that a not matured enough. so farmers have to make sure everything is in place on time.
