Hello Friends who are into homesteading, a few weeks ago I introduced myself into homesteading by purchasing 20 layer birds and started feeding them until they started laying.
Well they started laying and now I have sold several crates of egg from my little homestead.
In this short post I'll be sharing some reasons why I just love layer poultry.

I want to share my six biggest reasons for absolutely loving the whole egg poultry business. From the awesome nutrition eggs bring to the cool connections you make with these feathery buddies, there's a lot to get "egg-cited" about. Stick around as I break down why egg poultry farming is a total win for me!

1. Nutrient Boost: First things first, eggs are like little packages of goodness. They've got top-notch protein, important vitamins, and stuff our bodies need to stay tip-top. Knowing my meals are getting an extra punch of nutrition? That's a big thumbs-up from me!

2. Chicken Charisma: Chickens have way more personality than you might think. Whether they're pecking around or strutting their stuff, they've got quirks that'll make you smile. Bonding with these cluckers is a fun way to add some charm to your day.

3. Going Green: If you're into doing your part for the planet, raising egg-laying chickens is a cool way to go. These birds can help with bug control, give back to the soil, and even tackle food scraps. It's like a little environmental partnership that feels awesome.

4. Nature Connection: Hanging out with chickens and collecting eggs gives you this down-to-earth connection with nature. It's a sweet reminder of the circle of life – you nurture these birds, they give you eggs, and it's a feel-good connection with the world around you.

5. Learning Galore: Egg farming isn't just about eggs, it's a learning adventure too. You'll pick up cool stuff about how animals act, how biology works, and how farming can be smart and eco-friendly. It's like gaining a bunch of knowledge while having fun on the farm.

6. Friends and Fun: Getting into egg poultry brings you into this awesome club of people who share your love. Sharing tips, trading stories, and maybe even selling eggs at local markets – it's a great way to connect with others who think chickens are as cool as you do!

So, in case you have it in your mind to begin a small poultry for substance or her business it is very very cool to start, don't get distracted or discouraged I hope this post has helped to encourage you to create something and start your own poultry– it's a total package. 🥚🐔 Let's keep the chat going – I'm all ears for your thoughts and stories in the comments! 📝👇
