We keep sitting in a pit of soupy fog. Yesterday morning the fog was thick in the valley. It's the river and creeks, the el nino and rains, and the warmer temps combined but the valley is a slough for the fog and mists. This morning it is clear ahead of the incoming rains.
I took the boys to school and when I parked to wait fort he gate to open I looked down to see my truck had hit 156k miles. I had missed the 155555 when it turned and only saw it when it was 155557.
Past the hot tub towards the highway I cleaned out an area in the brush and we had a random rooster show up the other day that I shewed off and in doing so waled out to this area and found these piles of shit. They are obviously bird shit but there are 8 or 9 piles where something has roosted on tiny branches above. It looks similar to chicken but not. I haven't seen anything roosting there though.
I went out to the greenhouse and lifted the row cover to discover that I HAVE SPROUTS! It's been warm enough for them to FINALLY push above the soil. It's only taken about 5 weeks...All 3 rows have popped so today I HAVE to get the hoops to lift the cover off the seedlings and give space to grow.
It was around 11am when I go the sheetrock installed in the hole after cleaning behind the tub. I added a second layer of sheetrock behind to fill the gap since it is really thin sheetrock.
An audiobook I listened to talked about the death-clock.org so I went and it makes me laugh a bit. 36 more years it says I have, lol.
I roamed all over the farm trying to find the joint compound and had my keys and wallet ready to go to the store when I tried 2 more places and finally found it in the stairwell to the basement, right where I had put it. It is most of a 16lb box from the studio build and there was still a lot that is not dried out in the bottom that I was able to dig into and use to fill the cracks in the wall.
I got the crack filled in then let it sit to dry overnight. Today I will sand it down and maybe add another coat if it needs it to smooth out any major depressions.
Then I did a bunch of cleaning under the underlayment and the base of the walls before I started laying the laminate again. Problem being that I needed to find enough to fill in the last course and a 1/4.
I went digging around in my old laminate and managed to find 1 single full length piece in the same color.
The problem being is I don't have enough to replace the little piece on the end but I can cut out a piece for the threshold. In the end I had to take the laminate all up and start laying it from the bathroom door side to fit it under the trim.
Their last game before the all-star break and they shit the bed against a languishing San Jose. Not the way to go on the break as they are barely in the wild card race.
Went out to soak a bit earlier but was out normal time. Got the text that my Antminer has shipped and will be here Friday.
This morning I have my chiropractor appointment which I am quite anxious for as I need the pain relief, I'll get the hoops in the greenhouse and lift the row cover off the sprouts, sand the sheetrock joints, cut the piece of laminate and install it, boys to and from school, then R has practice this evening.
