A visit to my family plantain Garden

Hi lovely people! Good morning from Ekeminiabasi, i feel good to be here again, its a fulfilment of promise made few weeks back that i will take you guys through our entire gardening experience, we begun with the water leaf and pumpkin leaf, then we went through my hot pepper garden, last week, it was about my soursop fruit tree journey.

Today i will be taking you through our family plantain garden, this garden feed all of us, from this garden we have no less a harvest of five bunch of plantain a week in harvest on the minimum. but like the coming season its often more.

like i said from my start of engagement, this garden is just behind our family house, this part of the plantation below, is just beside the kitchen and i have noted the its always the most amazing in yield, am yet to make my study if it is because of the fire smoke that comes from the the kitchen, but this there is none that competes with this once.

This plantation has been for more than ten years now, what we do yearly is to effectively manage the garden, for this one we don't do irrigation, no effective weeding, only use cutlers to clear the bushy part of the farm so that can have access to the farm at all times.

the once planted by the side of the smock kitchen is always of more quality yield than others, again you will not have need to buy new suckers after your first plantation, because each of them will grow additional seedlings that will aid the the new season planting, all you need to have is enough planting space that will contain the new set of the plantain plant to be planted.

this season is always a good one for our garden experience because of the rainy season, an sure that by next month there will be more ten bunch of plantain harvest.

This is the new set of the planted sucker, this is how it is being done, but after planting, please avoid animal invasion into the new plantation, animals like goat do feed on the leafs so if you allow them to invade the garden, it will destroy the plant.

I will back to fulfill my promise, of taking you fully round my our family garden, i believe you are having a good time already, thanks so much for stopping by my blog, i don't take it for granted, i will always be grateful to the active members of the community as well as the admin of the community, or the opportunity to share my gardening experience on the #homesteading community. I remain your friend @emylight, stay safe till we meet again. I will always salute @monica-ene, a big thanks to @curangel and @ocdb for always being behind my back.
