There are things we need to keep silent. Sometimes secrets are good for avoiding conflicts. It's better not to shout to escape from gossipers who will share wrong information. But one of the best attitudes we could have if we want to be successful. Better to just nudge or smile not to create fire; Especially when we are the ones who are needing something, we should be the ones to tolerate it.
Attitude is very hard to control but it doesn't mean it's uncontrollable. Even though we are doing our very best not to let it out the real attitude inside. It's hard not to when we are angry, disappointed and embarrassed. We can not evade getting wild sometimes because you know as what they said, "My attitude depends on yours." Where it's undeniably true since we only answer the questions of others.
However, if we are facing customers or we're in a business industry, be ready because we have no choice but to wear a fake identity. Being true to ourselves is amazing because that's how other people recognize us. Although, in this industry, what kind of person we are is not necessary to be introduced. What matters here is how we treat our customers or clients. Even though it's suffocating sometimes, we need to act like we are not. Even though we are annoyed with someone, we need to force ourselves to smile like everything is alright. Yes, smile as much as we can to make sure our sales are doing better and we can encourage more customers to come.
Just like what I've been doing in my store for these few weeks already. Handling it by myself is not a joke, there are times I get really tired from taking care of it for a whole day and for days. I won't deny that I frowned, I yelled at but not facing a single customer of course. I just changed the subject into a joke so it wouldn't be obvious. Still, the longing inside to have a space is there. I just told myself through my mind that this is how I make a living. This is how I feed myself so I should be thankful for it and not trigger a single customer to be on bad terms. It will be bad for me when that customer will bad mouth me with his/her friends.
All I can do is to be patient with a maximum tolerance. As long as they don't hurt me, physically and mentally. I can face the customers even though they are annoying sometimes because of coming back and buying for only a small amount of money. It can't be helped, I need even just a cent to have a good sale and should be everyday. If I want to have more and more customers I need to be hospitable and cheerful. Faking a smile is not an option here because no one wants to talk to someone when they're showing a frowning face.
