Another interesting contest about "Bird Eye" on Show Me A Photo Contest Round 36. As a birder we always think that if we capture bright eyes then our photos are good. It all depends on light source and our position to photograph bird. These are some pictures, I gathered from my bird's archive for my Feathered Friends. It is very hard for me to select one or two pictures as I love all these birds. To meet requirement, I have cropped a lot of these pictures so If you feel some pictures are being pixelated then sorry about that.
Through this contest I saw some birds closely first time and was amazed to see the different colors of eyes. Mostly birds have Red, Yellow and black color but some birds have pink shade and Yellow footed pigeon has multi colored eyes. Some birds have different color bands around the eyes. Over all a great contest which has realized the beauty of birds. Keep it up.
