Hi friends,
so glad to be here again, after a long week of effective engagement at home and office, its quite a hectic time for me trying to strike a balance between my office engagement, Home (family), Hive blockchain and the church, its not been easy but God has been so so faithful in all. sharing my daily experience with my beloved friends on hive is an opportunity a don't take for granted, even when i may not have all the time to relate or translate my experience through my fingers but am always honored when am able to do so.
its the second month of the year and i see it as another amazing opportunity to share with you my experience in the office and more so my most exciting moment at work. I am a computer engineer, we are privilege to have people daily work into our office with computer hardware and software challenges, we also do attain to printers, scanners and other computer related device.
In my office we meet all kind of people and in different classes, As the nature of our work is, you don't decide who comes to the office except for someone without any computer related issue, but in our daily encounter , we see many things, and i will be sharing a few of them here today.
I am also privilege to have some young people working together with me at the office, we train young people on computer repairs and maintenance, data processing and information technology, computer networking technology and computer electronic and printer repairs.
We do have new persons coming in for the training every year and some times twice a year or more depending on the each duration of training, we use to have many young people come around but because of the capacity of our facility, we can only take a maximum of 15 per time for the engineering side but do take more for the data processing side.
Right now as i speak, we do have some who are already are done with their training but are still staying with the company to help for a few weeks before finally leaving.
The system you are seeing bellow, was brought by a client, about three years ago for repairs, and afterward disappeared into the air, all effort to reach him was aborted, but thanks to God that the system after being repaired, was coupled and kept, for the owner, since he wouldn't show up, we had forgotten about the system, but just as work began in 2022, about two weeks after resumption of work the man showed up, Believe me, it was a very funny experience, We ask him who he gave the system to, of which he remembered but could not identify the fellow, I personally told him that the very laptop, is a no no issue, and that it will take us a long while to search for the laptop, if we will even find it, i told him the procedures involve, he agreed to pay for it, but after the search for the system, though we found it but it was no more useful to both the owner or anyone, Now he is asking for a replacement of system for him by the company, if you happened to be in my shoe, what would you do?.
POWER SUPPLY UNIT
This unit have saved us for a good number of years now, we actually had no complain but recently, we found out that it was overheating so much that the other plastic part of it got melted. it was not an exciting experience, but am happy the time it happened, we did not have any of our trainee pass through the unit, could be it would have been a horrible story but God intervene and made the story a simple one.
BRIDGING THE GAB BETWEEN THEORY AND PRACTICAL
This happened to be one of the most exciting time and an awesome moment we have had so far, we know in the field that many of the theories that we all know are not directly applicable in real life case, this is when we come to clearly structure out and build a part way that helps us link the two element together.
Here we have questions being asked, and satisfactory answers are given, I also do have a senior college of mind in the field, who has an earing challenge but he is super-fantastic in solving technical problems.
This one month has been one of the most productive month we have experienced, in the last few years, Reasons are that, our student in the last one months are so creative and have so much ability for technical problem solving.
This is the front views of our rented facilities, its always calm in the outside but very busy in the inside, its a nice place to be but due to the increase in the economic activities within the environment, the owner has notified us that there will increase in the renting fee, I trust God that we will receive grace to handle effectively.
This is the busy nature of my road too and fro the office, it takes me about 20minute to get to the office from my house, its been God all the way, i have never been hurt by any moving vehicle but on that same axis, daily there have been series of casualties along that same road.
This is just the beginning for this year, and i know that the best is yet to come. thanks for having me @ekotmordemy, your friend and brother, looking forward to have more of you, as we engage.
