I think that one of the most complex challenges so far has been this, not so much because of the makeup as such but because of the elements that I had to create to make this character possible, for this makeup I worked with homemade latex, although it did not turn out as expected, it was great help to complete everything, my personal challenge for today was to recreate this horror character, known as Pinhead, I had wanted to do it for a long time but it seemed impossible, especially because he is bald, I thought of doing it with hair but I felt that it wouldn't be the same.
The thing is that I do not take photos of the process of creating the hat that I use, however, before proceeding to explain the step by step of my makeup I will tell you how I managed to make my head "bald".
To start I made homemade liquid latex using flour, white glue and water, I was mixing until I had a consistency that was not so thick but not so liquid, once my latex was ready, I inflated a balloon, this balloon would be my mold to make the hat, so I drew the silhouette of a head and I filled in each part of the balloon, this was quite difficult I even got latex everywhere, I let it dry all day yesterday until the night it was completely dry, I took it off the balloon and I put it on my head, looking for the shape that best fits, with a pair of scissors I cut the remaining parts and I already had my hat ready, while the hat was drying I made the nails, I made these nails with cotton swabs, remove the cotton from both ends and with a lighter burn both parts and glue them to a flat surface, being plastic these sticks take the flat shape of the table where you support them, thus giving a kind of nail, with plain paint I painted each cotton swab in total I made 30 they were drying all yesterday afternoon, today everything was ready to do this makeup so you will see how I did it below:
The texture of the hat was not very soft so it took me a long time to put it on, but it was not an impediment to stop my goal, so I put my hat on by gluing it with latex around my head, some parts did not fit quite well but I decided not to take it too seriously and continue, continue applying glue stick on my eyebrows to cover them completely, then apply translucent powder and start painting my face and head with white, continue painting my eyes using 3 shades of blue and blur them, then apply black gel eyeliner, both above and below, with a red pencil I made the sketch of the lines that I was going to paint with red body paint and paint my lips black.
Highlight the lines with the red paint, I proceeded to add the nails, these were very difficult to put I tried with latex, eyelash glue and false skin, that made the red lines that I had already painted a little ruined at the end I used several types of glue on different nails since some were glued with latex and others with fake skin, it was complicated, I also put false eyelashes.
Esto fue muy dificil pero me alegra haberlo hecho, nada es imposible tuve muchas dificultades en el camino pero al final la paciencia fue mi mejor amigo, espero que les guste mucho este maquillaje de horror.
This was very difficult but I'm glad I did it, nothing is impossible I had many difficulties along the way but in the end patience was my best friend, I hope you like this horror makeup a lot.
