I recently 3D printed a universal phone stand. The design I printed is from Thingiverse and was posted by user BCN3D. The design is under a Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY 4.0) license.

The print settings for the design don't require any supports or rafts but I added those for slicing anyway. As can be seen in the photo of my print above I removed the brim but kept the supports on the print. I think it looks better that way.

Part of the design's summary on thingiverse.com states:

This Universal phone stand was designed for the promotional video of Colorfabb & BCN3D Technologies collaboration:

The one printed in the video is made of bamboofill and printed with the BCN3D Sigma Sigma R19, an independent dual extruder machine:

We encourage you to print it and share a picture on the social networks with the hashtag #bcn3d. And see who prints it better!

The Hive platform is the primary social network I use so I am sharing my print of the design here.

It doesn't save a lot of desk space compared to laying the phone flat but it does make the desk look slightly tidier.

Son artefactos simples pero perfectos para regalar, personalmente la impresora 3D que tengo me ahorro muchos regalos ajajaj

That is absolutely phenomenal.

I really want to get a 3D printer and as soon as I have the space and especially the free electricity I'm going to be able to have all sorts of amazing things like 3D printer as well as a CNC machine so I can do it additive and subtractive manufacturing.
