We open our gates for awesome folks to join the work on the farm and help us to create educational content about the permaculture projects we implement here. Good news is I am not going to be alone writing articles, filming video tutorials and getting creative online. There are other beautiful talented folks that are going to keep you updated about our permaculture experiments on this page
People might think that farmers only have fun in the summer and then they enter a cocoon of laziness during winter. But it is not our case since we are preparing a huge project for the next year. First let me tell you how we arrived at this point.
In our first years we tried all kinds of little permaculture designs and we experimented with perennial plants. But then we feel we are missing something and we want to become more serious, like growing food for lots of people. So we started market gardening for 2 years. But then we felt that everything is too square and we are missing the wild experiments. The history of our journey is written on the land and there is still a lot of potential here.
Growing food and experimenting with permaculture only for yourself is quite interesting but there is so much more positive impact we can have beyond the local community.
We are putting together a permaculture and indigenous knowledge database right now with all kinds of projects, structures and strategies to live a more sustainable and healthy lifestyle. We know theory is not enough and too much bla, bla will take you nowhere. Mastery comes with experience. We come up with a plan to actually build those cool things and to document the whole process.
How is that different from the hundreds of books out there about permaculture?
Well, information is flowing everywhere nowadays on the internet and there are no secrets anymore. Anybody can become an expert in a field by reading e-books and articles. The challenge is to sort out those huge amounts of information and to adapt it to your own context. Another problem is that permaculture hype brought lots of projects that look amazing on an instagram page but that don’t actually work. We believe that through experience, essential insights can be achieved in order to create functional designs and ecosystems.
Here’s the plan:
🔬 Research mindblowing theories
📐Planing and modeling 3d projects and sketches
📹Documenting the manufacturing process
🌐We are digitalising everything in order to share it with the World.
Here’s how you can get involved:
As a fan

**As a remote associate **
We are setting up a system where we support permaculture designers and farmers to contribute to our permaculture database with articles, interviews, podcasts, movies etc. and be incentivised for that. The goal is to motivate amazing people to come out in the spotlight and start impacting the world by sharing their experience.
As a on-site bootcamper
We are welcoming motivated people who wish to experiment and learn about permaculture with us. We need both digital skills, content creator types like writing, movie making, photo editing, vlogging and hands-on skills like building, gardening and planning to get the projects done. We’re transforming Sphera’s space into a learning environment dedicated for experimenting with techniques, structures and strategies inspired by permaculture and indigenous culture.
Hop in, mate!
P.S.
Please note that all the support from the hive community as well as from patreon community will go into sustaining the life journeys of our volunteers as well as funding a part of materials and tools used in the permaculture projects. We are excited about the instractable materials we are going to create. If you feel you want to support us even more you can join our Patreon community and get the most out of your learning experience, with us. You will recieve drawings and 3D models about everything we do at the farm as well as wise support from the community.
