I am seeing a few potentials and promising ideas here

We are still on the process of cleaning up the old family house like in my previous post and today I am writing about the duhat tree that had grown so tall and big.

As the holiday season approaches, I find myself with an exciting idea about the duhat tree branches. We pruned a few branches from our towering duhat tree that had extended over our neighbor's fence. Rather than discard these branches, inspiration struck – why not turn them into the centerpiece of our Christmas decorations? While I haven't completed the project yet, I'm eager to share my plan for transforming these branches into holiday enchantment.

Already looking forward to using these branches and I love the way they look

I carefully selected a handful of duhat branches, ranging in size from 3 to 5 feet. Stripping away their leaves, I was left with beautifully rustic wooden branches ready for their magical makeover. Currently, the branches are in the process of natural air drying. This essential step not only preserves their rustic charm but also allows them to be in their prime condition for the upcoming holiday season.

Soon, it will be time to let creativity take center stage. Here's a glimpse of what's to come:

  1. Christmas Tree: My plan is to arrange the branches in a big pot securing them at the base. I'll decorate them with rustic ornaments, or something from nature and festive lights. This promises to be a unique and eco-friendly Christmas tree.

  2. Window Treatment: I'll be hanging these duhat branches by our windowsills, creating a charming and rustic ambiance. With twinkling lights, delicate snowflakes, and handmade ornaments, our home's exterior will radiate holiday cheer.

  3. Mistletoe Magic: Some mistletoe or faux greenery will find its place on the duhat branches. These strategic placements around our home will be perfect for those festive, romantic moments.

  4. Tabletop: A decorative vase will serve as a base for a bunch of duhat branches, creating a one-of-a-kind centerpiece. Adding ornaments, pinecones, or even candles will set the stage for an inviting holiday atmosphere.

  5. Wreath: Bending a few branches into a circular shape and intertwining them will form a unique wreath. I'll adorn it with ribbons, baubles, and a warm holiday greeting. Not sure though if the branches would break as this is my first time to work with them.

While these plans are still taking shape, I'm excited about the prospects of repurposing these duhat branches. Not only will we add a personal touch to our Christmas decorations, but we'll also reduce waste and showcase the beauty of nature. So, this holiday season will be about creativity, sustainability, and anticipation as we await the completion of our duhat branch transformation.
