Who knew that an old craft I learned how to make back when I was 9 years old would still come to good use even at the age of 37?
Back in the day I would make these in school when they were a fad. Notice I said fad and NOT fag LOL. That one year back when I was in the 4th grade, all the kids were making these. Only back then the beads that were used were a lot different than the beads I used to make these today. Back then they didn't have the neon rainbow beads like they have now. Or neon rainbow skull beads!
I was able to use my adult brain to use these same keychain pattern designs to make my keychains more vibrant and psychedelic. The little rainbow skull beads I found were a real hit too. I even personalized some of them! This was my 2nd time using letter beads to see how personalized keychains would come out. Personalized or not, they still came out AWESOME!!!
The diamond pattern keychains are the hardest to make. In fact, that big neon rainbow diamond keychain you see in the top right hand corner took me almost 4 hours to make! The bigger the diamond the harder and longer it is to make. Especially if you want it coming out right. If you are clever you can use the diamond pattern to make all kinds of cool designs like I did.
