I have started selling some of my preciously posted designs of candle holders so I thought it would be fun to come up with some new designs. For this idea I wanted to include the element of water into the design.

It didn’t take long before I thought of a water ripple. It took me a some time to make the 3D model and to try to capture the natural feel of a water ripple. As my 3D design software is mainly for making furniture and more industrial objects, it was hard to make this organic shape.

I made the rendering from som different angles to get the feel of how it would look in different lighting scenarios and I’m fairly happy with it. I’m also pretty sure it would look even better in real life.

But at the idea stage I need to be quite picky with which design I move ahead with as it will be time and money consuming to make the 3D print And then make the mold in silicone.
So I thought I would make a post about it and get you guys opinion . What do you think of the design, do you have some suggestion or input for how it could be improved ?

Thank you so much for giving people the chance to actually see this lovely creation! Awesome work dear @dandesign86

Thank you so Much :)

Elderly people will need to be careful that they don't think this is a birthday cupcake. Nice design for real though. Does it float?

Haha nah doesn’t float but that would actually be a cool idea !
