Hello dear people of the world, we want to tell you that we are in the construction of the workshop to create art with natural fibers, handmade.
To start giving it life, we went to get Caña Brava, from the Bamboo family. From the cane we can make baskets, fruit bowls, clothes hangers, small tables and many more.
Hola querida gente del mundo, queremos contarles que estamos en la construcción del taller para crear arte con fibras naturales, hecho a mano.
Para empezar a darle vida, fuimos a conseguir Caña Brava, de la familia del Bambú. De la Caña podemos hacer canastos, fruteros, tendido para ropa, mesas pequeñas y mucho más.

Once we have our canes ready, we are going to create a shelf on which we can place some light weight boxes, since the cane is not weak and not very strong either.
To secure each cane we use a Fique or Maguey stalk and cut it into thin strips until we can tie them together and they can be resistant.
Al tener nuestras Cañas listas, vamos a crear una repisa en la que podemos colocar algunas cajas de poco peso, ya que la caña no es débil y tampoco muy fuerte.
Para asegurar cada Caña usamos una penca de Fique o Maguey y fuimos cortando en tiras delgadas hasta el punto de poder amarrar y que puedan ser resistentes.

We place several canes horizontally and we fasten them with a braid that we have made with the strips of Fique. Finally we have a shelf made of Caña Brava and Fique cane, it is something wonderful since these resources have been given to us by Nature.
Colocamos varias Cañas horizontalmente y las sujetamos con un trenzado que hemos hecho con las tiras de penca de Fique. Finalmente ya tenemos una repisa hecha en Caña Brava y Penca de Fique, es algo maravilloso ya que estos recursos nos lo ha regalado la Naturaleza.
