Censorship Proof Communications Is Necessary for A Free, Robust and Peaceful Society.

We Have the Tools to Completely Eliminate the Middle Man.

Imagine a world where communities, journalists and markets are censorship proof because they operate independently on blockchain platforms, through peer-to-peer owner operated meshnets.

Build Open Source, Peer-to-Peer Communications With Blockchain Accountability for Anything.

Journalism: Taking Our Media Into Our Own Hands.

We can't deny that the age of the Internet and now full media powerhouses in our pockets has completely changed our historical power paradigm. As a result, this may well be the beginning of the greatest time in humanity.

Meshnets: Solving The ISP and DNS Problems.

Peer-to-peer network communications which can eliminate the barrier to entry and dependency on ISPs.

Projects like NameCoin (the first fork of Bitcoin) started us down the path of trying to solve the DNS problem. Where do we go from here?

Blockchain: Censorship is Over.

Blockchain platforms like Hive and LBRY (among others) have ended media and financial censorship. There are a lot of specialty blockchains to explore, and there are a lot of useless attempts at free money.

Indeed web3 is upon us, in less than no time web1.0 and web2.0 applications will be a thing of the past.

Pleas what do you mean by censorship

I will be glad to join you soon

I think LBRY it is not free of censorship since currently or at least until some months ago they had a registered company behind the project and it was the only one running node.
So if the government decided to close the company the LBRY ecosystem will be closed.

I think we need more projects fully descentralized to avoid government censorship.

Interesting. I will look into that more.

In the meantime, we have 3speak and SPK right here on Hive.

Journalism is what I'm trying to fix through blockchain technology, but in a "blogging way". Media is so flawed right now... It's mostly a tool of propaganda.

Ain't that the truth. And we have the tools right now. Obviously, there is still a ton to do in order for those tools to be the most effective, but what a great time to be alive.

I look forward to seeing more about your work on journalism through the blockchain.

It seems hard to get even crypto folks on board, though. In your opinion, what is keeping people, even crypto folks, from embracing the tools right in front of them?

In your opinion, what is keeping people, even crypto folks, from embracing the tools right in front of them?

I tackled this one on my blog a couple of times. It is convenience that's holding them back. They're more for the buck than the tech and they prefer being active where the messes are.

That makes sense to me. Sometimes I think the ability to earn is a detractor to engagement and the system is certainly strange enough to outsiders to keep them at bay.

Maybe more/ better marketing could close the gap.

Marketing is what Hive lacks severely

For sure. That is a main goal of mine - to make marketing easier and try to get more people involved. As stake holders, we should all be involved in supporting or direct action with marketing Hive.

I have always shilled Hive wherever possible. I've been doing that on Twitter berore #posh was a thing. I am sharing all of my posts on Publish0x and managed to bring quite a few users to LeoFinance

I'm sure I speak for many that we all appreciate the efforts put into pushing Hive out there for others to see. Its up to us.
