It's that time of the year again when we celebrate our loved ones with amazing gifts to show our expression of love. In the mood of love, I decided to create a rose flower that indicates love and excellence to celebrate Val.
Material used
Yarn
Crochet needle ( size e.4)
Scissors
Wooden stick
Step one: Make a slip knot, then make a chain of twenty-six, note: if you want yours to be fuller than mine you can make your chain more.
Step two: Insert your hook in the first stitch and make a double crochet then skip the next three stitches and insert your hook into the fourth stitch and make a double crochet make two chains inside the same stitch and double crochet,
Step three: After finishing with the previous step you notice you created some holes in between the stitches, insert your hook into the first hole you created and make two double crochets then chain one inside the same hole and make another two double crochets then end with a slip stitch to join the edges, move your hook into the next one, repeat the same process till the last hole you created in the previous step.
Step four: It is time to create the flower with what you just yarned, carefully turn the first leaf into the second the third, and so on till the last one then take your wooden stick insert it through the middle, and tie it with the cut-off yarn, tie tightly so it sticks to the wooden stick then take your green yarn and tie around the wood stick without spaces.
Step five: Take your yarn around your finger then use your hook to yarn pull through to make a loop then chain two and insert your hook back into the yarn around your finger and single crochet, single crochet around the yarn in your finger and draw the remaining yarn to get the single crochets together. In total make eleven single crochet and slip stitch to join the edges.
Step six: Make another single crochet round the first set you made and slip stitch then make two chains and insert your hook into the next stitch and two double crochet them move to the next stitch and make another two double crochet then chain one and turn your work, into the four double crochet make three double crochet and make a chain turn your work again and make two double crochet into the previous three double crochet, then double crochet into the two double crochet and make a chain and cut out your yarn.
Make a slip knot skip three stitches insert your hook and make a single crochet to join the yarn into your work and repeat the same process till you get your desired number of leaves.
Final step: Carry your flower with the stick insert through the leaves and add a little gum to make it stick very well.
